Vytautas Šerys retrospective exhibition overlaps with the 80th anniversary of the birth of the artist and the fifth anniversary of the death. The exhibition includes five decades of creativity. Vytautas Šerys is a sculptor, painter and poet. In 1995 he was awarded with the Prize of Lithuanian National Culture and Arts.
Šerys in the exhibition reveals not only as a sculptor whose work has a definite place in the twentieth century end of Lithuania’s history of sculpture, but as a multifaceted creator. The close parallels are highlighted between the sculptures, paintings, monotypes, and drawings.
