Summer exhibition program, extending the scope of the 20th to 21st century Lithuanian art context with Litvak origin artists. The first summer program for the exhibition "Portraits. Jim Dine Photography" presents a world-renowned American artist Jim Dine recent works. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the artist himself ant the SK Culture Foundation Köln Photographic Collection.
The exhibition presents more than thirty most important photographic portraits of Jim Dine. Large-format photographs created between the year of 2002 and 2007, demonstrates the artist's eclectic approach to the portrait genre.
Dine portraits appears in the near environment: studios, apartments, travel time. These works depict the specific reasons: individual objects but at the same time mentions the importance of more general problems.
