Between Sky and See

In the context of Lithuania it is the largest exhibition presenting an artistic heritage created during 19th – 20th centuries. The exhibition consists of over 100 works of art, folk art articles, and more than 50 photographs and postcards collected from Lithuanian museums, public and private collections.

The exhibition is dominated by the spectacular scenery and majestic dunes in the Curonian Spit (lithuanian Kursiu Nerija), calm-like expanse of the bay, with the edge of the typical crafts: fishermen and local people and their everyday life. Complementary to the exhibition of art works and landscapes of the Curonian Spit and the identities of people living within 50 captured by the same period photographs and postcards.
